It was good to be back again with the Deerhounds. One of our unspoilt breeds. However, the breed has a very distinctive look, and must never in appearance verge towards the look of the Irish Wolfhound. Temperament excellent and some well reared youngsters. I felt some good have been in harder condition.

MPD (1) 1 Trotman & Dockree's Stainlonan Pageant Of Penherald. Good head and eye, moving well, or one so young.

PD (2,1) 1 Grimshaw's Greyflax Domino To Jamalison. Well reared, pleasing head and eye, good feet.

JD (2,1) 1 Grimshaw's Greyflax The Jazz Singer. Has time to drop in brisket, type pleasing with good head and eye.

PGD (6) 1 Girling's Pyefleet Tarka, lovely stamp, pleasing outline, good head and eye.

2 Faircloth's Beardswood Ripley For Calbraidh Close up, has the type, shade light in eye. 3 Bond's Regalflight Rueben.

LD (3) 1 Taylor's Kilbourne Usher To Ormanstar. CC. Shouts Deerhound. Loved his type, correct top line and coat. Feet could be tighter, but his overal correct type, has to be appreciated. I note he carries the famous Kilbourne name, that was my BOB at Crufts some years ago. A classy dog.

2 Shannon's Erewhon Celestial Fire. Good type, could do with more depth of brisket. 3 Schaanning Ling's Beardswood Quiver.

OD (5,1) 1 Morton & Morgan's Ch Cotherstone Shot And Steel, RCC. Strong dog of quality and substance. Strong firm mover. Pleasing head and eye.

2 Macbean's Killoeter Ruaig Has the type, can always win well, but eye could be darker.

3 Wilson's Hamiltonhill Fred D Mercury.

VD (1) 1 Spring­Arnold's Sorisdale Macmanus. Carries his age well. Pleasing type with good hear and eye, moving well.

MPB (2) 1 Trotman & Dockree's Stainlonan Rend Of Penherald. Promising for 6 months, well balanced good bone.

2 Allday & Foster's Kilbourne Sweet Charity. Grand type, has time to let down in body and finish well.

PB (3,1) 1 Bailey's Greyflax Jean Genie BP. Grand type, well let down, moving freely, moving freely, has all the essentials, promise to finish well.

2 Taylor & Peach's Kilbourne Tess To Talorpeche. Not so forward, has time to develop and finish well.

JB (4,2) 1 Helps, Dove & Dove's Foxcliffe Classic Liberty Freedom At Beardswood. Lovely Deerhound type, excellent legs and feet, good head, eye could be a shade darker.

2 SpringArnold's Chuilinn Bellina. Smaller build, more bone and substance would be too advantage.

PGB (8,2) 1 Bailey's Greyflax Summer Breeze CC, and BOB. A classy lady, stands out for the desired type, grand quality excellent ear.

2 Shannon's Erewhon Wanton Flame.Type good,but needs more substance.

3 Rhodes' Regalflight Raffia of Lairigefyne.

LB (6,1) 1 Girling's Pyefleet Sabine, RCC type correct, has the lovely collected movement. Could easily gain her title.

2 Parsons & Mckinnon's Ennsai at Killoeter. Much to like, but a shade more length of leg required.

3 Constantine's Cotherstone Islay Mist Of Kaleginy.

OB (6,2) 1 Parsons & Mckinnon's Claonaiglen Fionnelighe.Good head and eye. One of the best movers on the day.

2 Constantine's Gentiehun Adelaide Of Kaleginy. Sound mover, well balanced, little plain in head.

3 Bailey's Greyflax Just Peachy.

VB (1) 1 Tresh's Trentdale Glamis Of Lyndorthwin, good substance, combined with quality. Moving out well,
